However, traditional editor printing circuit is limited to single layer printing. This invention allows printing of multiple layers of conductive traces separated by additively printed insulation layers, does it enables development of complex multilayer printed circuit build (PCB) using Attitude printing technology on various substrates , as well as development of variety of printed passive electronic components including capacitor , inductor, resistor , etc. After printing the bottom conductive trace layer, multi coated insulation layer was printed with additive printing technology except the via regions with some safety allowance and cavity for probing or discrete component placement, then the via regions were printed with multiple coating to fill up the via cavity, and then the top conductive trace was printed with multiple coatings. This process can be repeated to develop multiple layers of conductive traces sandwiched by appropriate insulation layer. 3D passive components can also be built such as magnetic solenoid.
